Last term our clubs took part in a wide range of activities including: baking, puppet making, drama, Indian dancing, beat boxing, games and quizzes.
Our clubs also went on a number of different trips including: The Fun Factory, Rock Climbing Wall, Bowling and The Maritime Museum!
Each club is led by a team of two experienced and approachable sessional workers and a volunteer worker.
Our aims for CLUB4US are as follows:
- To support children and young people in gaining confidence and self-esteem in order to deal with issues that affect them
- To offer opportunities for children and young people to build a social network, assisting them to overcome isolation through building contacts with other minority ethnic children and young people
- To encourage children and young people to integrate with all sections of the community, feeling safer in the community that they live
- To offer opportunities for children and young people to gain new skills in a range of areas widening their interest and options to make positive changes in their lives that assist them to plan for the future
We are always looking for new members – Come and give it a try.
