Focus

The main focus of the Black Community Development Project, as an anti-racist project, is to bring all minority ethnic communities in Greater Pilton together, and create a platform to discuss issues which affect their lives.

The Project seeks to support communities, by helping them to empower themselves, and by ensuring their well-being through an effective Community Development process.

This is done through raising awareness, group work, taking an interagency approach with statutory bodies and through one-to-one support and advocacy work.

The organisation strives to create a cohesive society and it works very closely with the local indigenous white communities.
