Childcare Training Course with English Language Support

A new and exciting opportunity for local Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Community starting September 2008.

BCDP, North Edinburgh Childcare and City Literacy and Numeracy (CLAN Edinburgh) are planning to start a new Childcare training with English Language support course.

The training course will begin with 8 weeks (1 morning per week) of English Language training with a Childcare element in September 2008. Participants will then progress to undertake the 'In2 Childcare'training programme in November 2008. This will be delivered with English language tutor support 3 mornings per week for 5 weeks. Successful participants will be encouraged to apply to undertake the Childcare Academy programme (incorporating SVQ Level 2 and significant work placement) in February 2009.
